Decree amending the Decree on extraordinary measures to deal with the health emergency caused by the SARS-Cov2 virus, published on 31 March 2020:

In general terms: 

1.     It extends the period of extraordinary action for the health emergency from 30 March to 30 May.

2.     Possibility of cancelling the suspension of activities from 18 May, in those municipalities of the territory that on that date present low or no transmission of COVID19.

3.     Empowers the governments of the federal entities to implement measures to prevent and control health contingencies; to establish mechanisms to reduce the mobility of inhabitants between municipalities with the assistance of federal public administration units; to ensure, within the scope of their competence, the appropriate and timely implementation of measures.

4.     It is the responsibility of the Governments of the federal entities, as health authorities, and in general the members of the National Health System, to implement and monitor hospital conversion and expansion plans to ensure adequate and timely health care.
