On Tuesday, March 26th, an decree was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation amending the General Law of Credit Instruments and Transactions regarding the issuance of negotiable instruments.

Among the new provisions, it is established that the stock certificates of your company, may be issued electronically, which will have full legal effects and validity, as long as they are generated through a Certification Service Provider accredited in accordance with NOM-151-SCFI-201. 

Therefore, the digitalization of the stock certificates, provides more security and legal certainty to the holders of such stock certificates, since the digitalization allows them to be preserved, guaranteeing the integrity and authenticity of the rights contained therein.
