Valeria is currently a Law student at ITESO. She serves as the President of the ITESO Debate Society, representing her university at the national level and Mexico on the international stage, most recently in Panama. She has participated in various debate tournaments as both a debater and judge, achieving some awards such as runner-up and best judge. Valeria has also collaborated with the National Electoral Institute on the Mexico Debate project, where she was part of the logistics team.

She is also a Member of the National Inter-University Council of Law Students (CINED A.C.) and a Member of the Research Committee of the Gender Coordination CINED A.C.

She represented the state of Jalisco as part of the "Semilla Program," which is the Fifth Generation of the program offered by the Center for Teaching and Learning of Law.
