Adriana Cruz has more than ten years of experience advising clients in Intellectual Property matters. She has worked for both the private and public sectors, working as an associate for prestigious law firms in Mexico and within the public sector, she worked in the Intellectual Property Department of the Autonomous Metropolitan University (“UAM” for its acronym in Spanish), under the Office of the Attorneys General Office.
She has an extensive experience in the analysis, follow-up and registration of distinctive signs (mainly trademarks and advertisements), counseling and negotiation of industrial property contracts, software licenses, museum exhibition contracts and works for hire, as well as in administrative litigation, especially contentious proceedings before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property and Nullity Trials before the Federal Court of Administrative Matters.
